Dr. Leas is the owner and President of Ankle and Foot Clinic, PS. Dr. Leas completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis and received his master's degree from Portland State University.
After completing undergraduate and graduate studies, Dr. Leas spent time as an athletic trainer,working for Portland State University and then in 1979, assuming duties as Head Trainer for the Portland Timbers of the North American Soccer League.
In 1981 he returned to medical school and in 1985 received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed two years of residency in the San Francisco Bay area and in 1987, returned to Vancouver to begin his podiatry practice with Ankle & Foot Clinic. In 1998, Dr Leas took ownershop of Ankle and Foot Clinic, PS and has continued to guide the clinic since that time.
He is an active staff member of PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center where he previously served as the Chief of Podiatry for 10 years. In addition, Dr. Leas participates as a community physician instructor for the Family Medicine of Southwest Washington Residency Program.
Dr. Leas is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Leas shares an active sporting life with his wife, Julianne. They especially enjoy both road cycling and mountain biking.
